Jeff A. Mitchell ATPL(H) ATPL(A)
My RV8
I began the project on 27 October 2006, in St. John’s, NL. Due to a base change, I moved it to Halifax. Once nearing completion I moved it all again to Phoenix, AZ where I completed the airplane and carried out its first flight.
It took 4050 hours of building spread over 7 years, 11 months and 15 days to go from the first rivet to the first flight! It was fun to build and even more fun to fly!
